Speech: Legacy Centenary Torch Relay

I address the Senate Chamber on the important work of Legacy Australia in the veteran community.

Legacy supports more than 40,000 partners and children of veterans who gave their lives in service to our nation as well as those who have returned bearing physical and mental scars. This year, Legacy celebrates its centenary and is hosting a torch relay, which began last month on the old battlefields of France.

I am proud to be a torch bearer as part of the relay's Adelaide leg.
