Question Time: An update on our nation's defence

Today in Question Time I asked Defence Minister, Senator Linda Reynolds, to update the Chamber on Australia's defence strategic policy. The Federal Government is committed to supporting our defence forces which continue to provide crucial assistance to Australians through the challenging times we know today. Earlier last month, the Federal Government launched its Defence Strategic Update and 2024 Structure Plan to guide our nation's response to the pandemic. This includes a $270 billion commitment to defence capability over the next ten years.
