ON Wednesday morning at Government House, His Excellency the Governor received The Honourable Andrew McLachlan CSC MLC, president of the Legislative Council.

In the afternoon at Parliament House, the Governor, accompanied by Mrs Le, addressed and opened the second session of the 54th Parliament of South Australia. Afterwards at Government House, the Governor and Mrs Le hosted a reception for the service and other personnel who supported His Excellency in the event. Later the Governor received members of the Legislative Council for the presentation of the new president of the Legislative Council.

In the evening the Governor and Mrs Le hosted a reception to acknowledge volunteers, supporters and Lifetime Achievement awardees of the Conservation Council SA.
