MEMBER for Mount Gambier Troy Bell yesterday called for the State Government to reveal when the report into the city’s hospital will be released following the medical staff industrial dispute continuing yesterday.
Country Health SA executives and the South Australian Medical Officers Association met for the second time in the SA Industrial Relations Commission late yesterday over what they claim are systemic staffing issues at the health facility.
Ahead of yesterday’s voluntary conference, the doctors union had not ruled out taking further industrial action, holding a community meeting or forcing another review to resolve the workforce problems at the facility.
