New arts building for Mount Barker Waldorf School

Last week, I was very pleased to view the impressive new arts building at Mount Barker Waldorf School ahead of its opening today. My commitments in Canberra for Budget Estimates meant that I was unable to return in time to declare the facility officially open!

During my visit, I enjoyed speaking with a cohort of Arts students who showed me their latest self-portrait work. Some of the students who have attended Mount Barker Waldorf since Kindergarten also told me of the benefits the refurbishment will have on the school community for generations to come

The Morrison Government contributed nearly $700,000 to refurbish the facility as part of the Capital Grants Program which has this year provided a total of $12.3 million to 22 school across our State.
