Coober Pedy Liberal AGM | Coober Pedy Regional Times

Federal Member for Grey Rowan Ramsey was in Coober Pedy recently to attend an AGM of the local Liberal Party. Mr. Ramsey took the opportunity to meet with some members of council and to look over the new hybrid power plant.

“I visited a number of sites including council where I met with the Mayor, CEO and some individual councillors,” he said.

“On this visit I was accompanied by Member of the South Australian Legislative Council Andrew McLachlan “I discussed a wide range of issues with council representatives and then was able to tour the new electricity

generation facility with Electricity Developments Ltd (EDL).

“This was a great opportunity to view some of the world’s best renewable technology at this cutting edge facility and I was pleased to see the Federal Government investment benefitting the people of Coober Pedy,” said Mr. Ramsey.
