A monarch of ‘timeless decency’: PM leads tributes │The Australian Financial Review

Queen Elizabeth II is being remembered for the love she showed for Australia and her tireless sense of duty to the people she met across the length and breadth of the continent, as nationwide mourning began for the only monarch most Australians have known.

Tributes from across the political divide flowed for the Queen, including from pro-republic former prime ministers, with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese saying she embodied a ‘‘timeless decency and enduring calm’’.
